DawnScore is operated by Solphoria ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Data We Collect
Account info: Email address and display name when you sign up.
Scan data: GPS coordinates, compass heading, room photos (processed in-memory on your device), detected window count, and calculated scores. GPS coordinates and scores are stored in our database.
Subscription info: Payment details are processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status — never your card number.
Device info: Browser user agent and basic device info for error monitoring and support.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Calculate and display your DawnScore results
- Save your scan history so you can revisit results
- Process payments and manage your subscription
- Send account-related notifications (password resets, plan changes)
- Improve the app through anonymized, aggregated analytics
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Supabase — database hosting and authentication
- Stripe — payment processing
- Vercel — application hosting
- Open-Meteo — weather data (we send coordinates only, no personal info)
4. Data Storage & Retention
Your data is stored on Supabase (hosted in the US). Scan data is retained for the life of your account. Room photos are processed on your device and are not stored on our servers.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data — export a JSON copy from Profile > Privacy & Data
- Delete your account and all data — available in Profile > Privacy & Data
- Correct your information — update your name and email in your profile
- Withdraw consent — you can stop using the app and delete your account at any time
6. Cookies & Local Storage
We use localStorage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (dark mode, language). We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

By using DawnScore ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. The Service is provided by Solphoria.
1. What DawnScore Does
DawnScore estimates natural light quality in rooms using solar geometry, weather data, and device sensors. Scores are informational and should not be the sole basis for real estate decisions.
2. Your Account
You must provide a valid email to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. One account per person.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or redistribute DawnScore data
- Misrepresent DawnScores as official property certifications
- Interfere with the Service's operation or security
4. Subscriptions & Billing
Free accounts include 3 scans per month with full scoring. Paid plans unlock unlimited scans and additional features. Payments are processed by Stripe. You may cancel anytime from your profile — access continues until the end of your billing period.
5. Accuracy & Liability
DawnScores are estimates based on solar calculations, historical weather, and device sensor data. Actual light conditions may vary. Solphoria is not liable for decisions made based on DawnScore results. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty.
6. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Profile > Privacy & Data. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data is permanently deleted.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.

Four dimensions — brightness, warmth, constancy, and window quality — combined with 15 years of historical weather, SunCalc solar geometry, and TensorFlow.js window detection on the photo you capture. The result is a single 0–100 score with sub-scores you can interrogate.
How accurate is the score on a single scan?+
Every scan is labeled with a confidence tier. Verified scans (live camera + real GPS) are the most trustworthy. Standard scans (uploaded photo or approximate GPS) are still a real reading. Demo scans are clearly marked as illustrative only.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Cancel from your profile at any time. The rest of your billing period stays active and you keep full access until it ends.
Do you support team billing?+
Yes. Agent Team plans bill per seat at $12/seat/month on top of the base subscription. One owner manages billing; each seat gets its own login and shares brokerage branding.
